Camino Verde´s private conservation area officially recognized

Happy New Year! This just in: Peruvian Ministry of the Environment resolution RM 346-2012-MINAM officially recognizes the forests protected by Camino Verde as a private conservation area!  

 

Our allies at the Peruvian Society for Environmental Law posted this story (in Spanish) on our recent recognition as custodians of land that is now considered a conservation area in perpetuity.  The same article can also be found on the Actualidad Ambiental website.
