Half way to preserving 100 acres more of the Amazon!
We are pleased to announce that we are now more than half way to our goal of raising $25,000 for the purchase of 100 more acres (40 hectares) in the community of Baltimori in the exquisite rainforests of Tambopata. Acquiring this adjacent land would mean more than doubling the size of our existing center. 20 of the 100 acres have been previously farm, leaving room for our reforestation efforts. The other 80 acres are pristine rainforest, Tambopata´s jungles being among the world´s most biodiverse. We continue to seek a dozen generous donors to contribute $1,000 to this unique conservation opportunity. No amount is too small. Please donate.
