The Executive Director oversees and carries out all projects and ongoing management of programs in Baltimori, La Joya, and Puerto Maldonado.  He is responsible for communication with the Board of Directors through Quarterly Reports and other updates and is the primary drafter of new project materials, grant proposals, etc.  More importantly, the Executive Director is involved with the planting of trees and the expansion of programs to benefit local communities.

Gregorio ChávezPermanent Grounds Manager, Baltimori

All infrastructure and plantations at Camino Verde’s center at Baltimori are managed, mantained, and lovingly cared for by the Grounds Manager.  He is responsible for the prevention of tresspassing by lumber extractors and poachers, maintenance of property boundaries, and overseeing of all temporary personnel.

Temporary Personnel

Our projects offer temporary employment at fair wages to numerous local community members.  Jobs include construction of infrastructure, transportation (commonly by motorized canoe) of tree seedlings, weed clearing and installation of tree plantations, and more.
