Come to see for yourself
or to lend a hand

We love to let our work speak for itself.  In person, restoration is something you can touch.  Come and experience our unique reforestation center in the middle of one of the most biodiverse forests in the world.

Whether for a comfortable retreat among the trees, or to get your hands dirty in the day to day of the farm, we accept a modest number of visitors and volunteers each year, limited by the size of our accommodations.

If you feel the call to visit, volunteer, or intern, please read this page in its entirety and complete the form at the bottom, telling us a bit about what inspires you to make the journey.

Please note that the costs below do include transportation to and from our somewhat remote agroforestry farms in the Peruvian Amazon, as well as dormitory-style lodgings in the beautiful Casa Fénix and three substantial (and delicious) meals a day. Our farm quarters offer modest solar power, dry composting toilets, well water for drinking and showers, and the breathtaking beauty of the Tambopata River for bathing.

For Visitors

It’s an honor for us to share agroforestry and its fruits with visitors from around the world. The cost of your stay contributes directly to our reforestation programs in the Peruvian Amazon (and includes a private room).

Cost per day: $75 or S/. 300

Anyone who stays with CV for less than two weeks is automatically considered a visitor.

For Volunteers

Come plant a tree or a hundred and learn from our team of master Amazonian agroforesters. Volunteers engage in farm activities that vary by season and by day of the week. Moderate to good physical condition is expected.

Cost per week: $350 or S/. 1,400
Cost per month: $1,100 or S/. 4,400

Volunteers’ stays range in length from (minimum) two weeks to several months.

For Interns

Ready for a life-changing experience of immersion in the Peruvian Amazon? Interns are hard-working and dedicated to creating a better world one day at a time. Prepare to form friendships with hundreds of species of Amazonian plants.

Cost per month: $450 or S/. 1,600; Peruvians: S/. 550

Minimum internship length: 2 months.
